He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the University of California at Berkeley, and a few years ago completed a master's degree in the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law. He has lectured widely in North America, Europe, Israel and South Africa, and has been a Guggenheim Fellow, a visiting fellow of St. Antony's College, Oxford and the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Hebrew University.
